Number of usability improvements and bug fixes. Fixed one more regression in ASIO DSD support. New upsampling filter “minringFIR” included in Desktop version. ALSA handling improvements in Linux version, including better support for HDMI.1

Added buttons to load/save playlists and support for translations. Fixed an ASIO initialization problem introduced in 2.7.0. Windows installers are now signed. Number of smaller fixes and improvements.

Direct DSDIFF/DSF playback is now also possible in playlist mode. Increased precision of some pre-computations to 80-bits. Fixed problem on convolution engine setup dialog and some other smaller fixes. Embedded Engine now matches the Desktop version. Dropped Standalone version.

Numerous changes, including redesigned UI, support for playlists (pls/m3u or adding files/trees to an internal playlist), support for mixed rate transports, support for native/direct playback of DSDIFF/DSF files using different “PCM packing” schemes (Linux&WASAPI), fixed issue on native DSF playback. Support for AIFF file format added, fixes to raw DSDIFF/DSF playback time display. Menu entry and a dialog added to Windows version of the Engine Daemon for setting library location in order to ease up configuration. Software was built in an updated build environment.
