After 28 years of development and three years since release of version 5, it is time for HQPlayer version 6. One of the new main components is in-house UPnP 2.0 AV stack providing more flexibility for the functionality across wider range of hardware and OS platforms. There is also a new set of source content cleanup filters to deal with various issues in some of the content.
At the same time, HQPlayer 5 enters maintenance mode that lasts for two years. Upgrades to version 6 are available through the web shop page and available for the two year maintenance period.
